Vibes of the Afrikan Diaspora was born in Atlanta, GA, out of a deep need for cultural healing. After spending a lifetime in the southern states of America as a woman of African descent, something broke in Ṣewà. The only thing that fixed it was finding the wisdom and courage to take a one-year sabbatical to travel, think deeply, reflect on life, and spend time doing things that restored her spirit. After taking that much-needed time to ground her mind, body, and soul in ancestral culture, Ṣewà discovered her purpose - to help others do the same.

Vibes of the Afrikan Diaspora is dedicated to healing the African Diaspora from the systematic trauma inflicted upon us and our ancestors so we can manifest the lives of our dreams. We operate with love and plan with intention, curating seminars, workshops, healing retreats, and parties centered around cultural tourism, entertainment, and education.

On 12.22.21, a movement was born celebrating our cultural riches that money can't buy. Now that our headquarters have been moved to Nassau, Bahamas, VAD is launching again! "Get Connected" to receive an exclusive invitation to upcoming events  in Atlanta, GA and Nassau, Bahamas!
