On the day this idea was birthed, a beloved family member of our Founder committed suicide. There could have been no louder of an exclamation mark behind the need for what she envisioned.
With the level of healing that the Afrikan Diaspora needs combined with the trauma of systemic racism we continue to endure, our community needs strong cultural support from mental, physical, and spiritual healthcare professionals. To ensure continued strength of these healthcare professionals, Vibes of the Afrikan Diaspora is committed to curating opportunities for our community healers to take a much needed break at least once annually. The Reset Retreat is their opportunity to rest, relax, and be restored as they enjoy a specially curated experience of culinary delights, sol therapy on the beach, music therapy under the stars, and spiritual grounding in the white sands of The Bahamas.
